Rory the six and a half year old ginger cat had swallowed rat poison, and had internal bleeding. He urgently needed a blood transfusion. . But with no time to do a blood type test. Veterinarian, Kate Heller of Tauranga Vets had to make a quick decision. She told the owner Rory's only chance might be a blood transfusion from a dog. Macy's owner agreed to the donation.
