2:10 Bomber Command - Neville Selwood - It's taken more than sixty years, but a Dunedin man is finally being recognised for his World War II contribution flying in Bomber Command. Neville Selwood was only 18 years old when he got the call up from the airforce. He was trained at various bases all over New Zealand, and did pilot training in Canada, before he took up his position as navigator on board the famous Arvo Lancasters of Bomber Command.
He and his squad flew 25 missions in all before the war ended, whereupon he was shipped back home to New Zealand. In the decades that followed, he spoke little of his war-time years.
Now though, with the service of Bomber Command being officially recognised, Neville Selwood is remembering his experiences once more

2:30 Reading - We're following the fortunes of three girls who have escaped from a Native Settlement school in Western Australia. Led by 16-year-old Molly, the trio have survived their first day on the run. And we re-join them today as they emerge from the rabbit burrow that was their overnight shelter, hungry and with a growing fear for the consequences of their actions.

4:06 The Panel - Catherine Robertson and Neil Miller -  Our prescient commentator Matthew Sheahan with us once again from San Francisco. Why is NZ so low on productivity? Bono's argument for why U2 don't pay taxes in Ireland, he's come out with an odd-sounding defence, and what about the super-sized salaries of the charity CEOs? Do we expect the people running our charities to be on 220k a year? What to do with boy racers, and with NZ's homeless children.
