2:10 The Solo Yachtie - Stanley Paris - It's nearly two years now since we had our next guest on.
Back at the beginning of 2012, former Otago Boys High alumnus Doctor Stanley Paris was a 74 year old with a 64ft yacht, and a mission: to become the oldest person to sail around the world solo.
"Just another crazy kid with a dream", as Leonard Cohen would say. Well, Stanley is 76 now, and he and "Kiwi Spirit"-his Bruce Farr-designed yacht, are just about ready to go. He's hoping to make it from Bermuda all the way back again in 149 days or fewer. Stanley Paris talks with Jim Mora from Florida.
