2:10  The Boat Vet - Duncan Smith: Duncan Smith grew up on a farm in Turakina, just south of Whanganui, where the farm life gave him a good grounding in his chosen career as a veterinarian. But Duncan always had a hankering to run off to sea. So when the family farm was sold, that's exactly what he and his wife Kate and their three children did. They bought a fifty-one-foot boat in Kerikeri and lived on it while working out just how to sail her, and when they were eventually comfortable enough to leave our shores, they sailed for Vanuatu and then onto Australia, which is where they are now anchored.
