The choir was initially formed to help play a part in rebuilding the city - but it's not your ordinary, everyday choir - This choir is little bit different as its repertoire consists of rock, pop, gospel and jazz.
And at the head of it all is Luke Di Somma - who is no stranger to the power of music - having been a Fulbright scholar in New York, studying the art of musical theatre. Now, the Pops Choir were onstage last night, for their first performance of the year.
