You may remember last year we had TV journalist, Ian Sinclair in to share his hidden talent as a flamenco guitar player. Well now he's put his money where his mouth is, and is playing for world renowned flamenco dancer Isabel Rivera Cuenca on her New Zealand tour. Details here.

Today they bring in a portable dancefloor and she dances while he plays. If you want to watch - the video is going to be live streamed on our facebook page

1:15 The greenest apartment block opens

An Auckland apartment block has been given an impressive 10 star Homestar built rating which means it can claim the title of the greenest residential block in in the country. Daisy Apartments in Kingsland is home to 33 units and has just two car parks for two shared cars for the use of residents. The apartment was built by Ockham Residential and one it's founders, Mark Todd speaks to Jesse about the eco-friendly building and why it doesn't accommodate any cars.

1:25 2018 New Zealand Poetry Yearbook

The upcoming 2018 Poetry Yearbook includes 130 new poems from 87 poets. It has a skew for 2018 towards younger writers including those who are still in their teens. It also features the 2018 Poetry Prize Winner's work. That was won by an Otago University Medical student, Fardowsa Mohamed. The Yearbook's editor Jack Ross talks to Jesse about the quality of this year's book and the talent of the country's younger poets.

2:20 Bookmarks with Rhian Sheehan

Our guest on Bookmarks this week is musician, music producer and screen composer Rhian Sheehan.

He's known for his atmospheric electronic music, and has spent the past decade writing scores for tv, film and even planetarium shows.  

He's currently working on his fifth album and is also writing the score for a new project for Weta gameshop, which is Weta workshop's new mixed reality studio

He's joins us in our Wellington studio to talk about the books, music, art and films that have influenced and ispired him.

3:10 Roger McNamee: how to fix facebook

Roger McNamee knew he was on to a winner when he became an early investor in Facebook.  Now he's concerned about what the social media platform is doing to teenagers and how Facebook was used by Russians to manipulate the US Presidential Election.   He says more investors like himself need to stand up and call for social concerns to be addressed even if it means profit takes a hit.
