Wine race - Juliet Abbott

There's just over a month to go until the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Yacht Race. The annual event is a race to deliver Sauvignon Blanc from Waikawa to Wellington. The joint venture between Waikawa Boating Club and Wine Marlborough, marks the first of the year's sauvignon blanc vintage leaving the region's shores. Rear Commodore Sailing at the Waikawa Boating Club and Chairperson of the yacht race committee, Juliet Abbott, joins us from the Auckland Boat Show.
