NZ On Air has agreed to provide more than eight million dollars funding for a new drama series, which it hopes will successfully compete with the current batch of nightly reality TV shows, like Masterchef and The Block. The first series of Filthy Rich has been funded $8,125,000 for 20 episodes, which will run twice a week on TV2 in a prime time slot.
