NZ Retro - The Year 1968

Our population was still under 3 million, and Kiwi Keith Holyoake was in his third term as Prime Minister. The opposition benches were led by Norman Kirk and Vernon Cracknell as the only member of our third political party - Social Credit. Television was still in black and white, and there was only one channel, but the impact of TV which had already caused the closure of many suburban cinemas, was having an affect on rival advertising mediums as well.
