Coppins Para Sea Anchors - Bill Coppins

From Afternoons, 2:20 pm on 21 January 2015

One South Island family-run company has reason to feel more than a little pleased with itself at the moment. Coppins Para Sea Anchors, based in Motueka, has beaten off international competition with a world-first design. Its method of anchoring ships which have lost power at sea has been taken up the Norwegian coast guard, and other overseas customers seem interested. The company goes back four generations, and current owner and designer is Bill Coppins.
