It's the science of identity, and how we define who we are. But how do we do this? Is it through blood, DNA, whakapapa, or our cultural environment?

Auckland Libraries and the University of Auckland, with the support of the Royal Society of NZ, are today running a free public event on identity and how we define it.

Dr Carla Houkamau is a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland and Brad Argent, a family historian and spokesperson for Ancestry, will be speaking at the event today.
