Guitar effects wizard

Former drummer for Split Enz, Paul Crowther joins Jesse Mulligan to talk about guitar effects pedals - specifically the ones he manufactures right here in New Zealand.

Crowther is based in Dunedin where he builds the 'Hotcake' and 'Prunes and Custard' pedals, which are sought-after by guitarists around the world.

We hear some excellent examples of guitar effects being used in songs, including 'Satisfaction' by the Rolling Stones and 'Sunshine of Your Love' by Cream.
