The philanthropy in public parks

From Jesse Mulligan, 1–4pm, 1:22 pm on 22 November 2017

Cornwall Park is one of the major parks in Auckland and is at the heart of the city.

It's beginning dates back to 1901 when Sir John Logan Campbell gifted the land to the people of New Zealand during an era renowned for philanthropy.

Thomas Woltz is a landscape architect leading a discussion about public parks and philanthropy in Auckland.

He talks to Jesse about how we're benefitting from acts like Logan Campbell's that led to places like Cornwall Park.
