The Auckland Arts Festival always attracts a big crowd and this March will be no different, but have you ever thought about how festivals such as these can be a bit of a mind field for those with disabilities?
This year an access programme has been designed to cater to those who are blind, deaf, or who may have disorders like autism.
It's been created so every event can be enjoyed by everyone. Artistic Director of the Auckland Arts Festival Jonathan Bielski tells us what goes into making this happen.
