For National Privacy Week this week, a scientist is speaking to parliament to warn them of the dangers of the coming quantum age, and to offer some solutions.

Professor Artur Ekert, from Oxford University, is a leader in the field of quantum cryptography, a system that protects data security against espionage and crime, when quantum computers become the norm.

He's in New Zealand working with the Dodd Walls Centre's international science advisory board.
