Richard F Thomas on Why Dylan Matters

From Jesse Mulligan, 1–4pm, 2:20 pm on 5 June 2018

Bob Dylan's announced he's going to be here for two concerts in August this year - so probably fitting we turn to an expert on the man himself.

Professor Richard F Thomas is Harvard University's George Martin Lane Professor of the Classics and as part of that role teaches a course on Bob Dylan.

He's also written a book called Why Dylan Matters. The professor, who was born in London, grew up here in New Zealand and hopes to make it back for the shows in August.
