Riverwatch - where technology meets ecology

From Afternoons, 1:39 pm on 18 September 2018

Inspired by the declining health of the Pahaoa River on their Wairarapa farm, film maker James Muir and his dad Grant have built a high tech water quality monitoring device in partnership with Callaghan Innovation that they say will allow people to continuously monitor the health of waterways and react swiftly when the water is contaminated.

James tells Jesse Mulligan about his work with his dad to develop his award-winning technology.
