Upper North Island kauri seed collection

Right now, one of the biggest kauri seed collections in decades is happening across the upper North Island.

The project is an attempt to help identify trees which are resistant to kauri dieback, which could have massive benefits in figuring out how the disease can be fought or prevented.

Dr Nari Williams is overseeing the programme and joins us to explain more.
