King Kong Returns

From Jesse Mulligan, 1–4pm, 2:22 pm on 2 July 2010

King Kong has returned to the famous Universal Studios theme park in Los Angeles thanks to Peter Jackson. A fire at Universal Studios in 2008 destroyed the old King Kong ride, and a new 3D makeover has just opened with much Hollywood fanfare. The new ride, developed by Jackson, includes the world's largest Surround Digital projection system and two 200-foot-long movie screens. Their combined size covers an area equivalent to 16 conventional movie screens.
