Auckland Story for 7 July 2010 - Mountain Fountain

For thirty years, Aotea Square in Auckland, contained the"Mountain Fountain". It was created by one of the country's most respected sculptors Terry Stringer. The whole Aotea square is being rebuilt to fix that leaky underground car park. The sculpture's got a new home to go to outside the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral in Parnell.
