Harry "Breaker" Morant

Campaigners who want the British government to pardon Boer War soldier Harry "Breaker" Morant are upset that British Secretary of Defence, Dr Liam Fox will not meet with them while he's in Australia. Lieutenants Morant and Peter Handcock, were executed for the murder of 12 prisoners of war in the dying days of the Boer War. They maintained they were simply following orders.
