Auckland Story for 9 February 2011 - Garden to Table

Obesity and diabetes are just two of the epidemics facing western society today and most concerning, increasingly amongst our children. The Garden to Table Trust was set up recently to encourage school children into gardens, growing their vegetables and learning how to cook them. Three Auckland schools have just finished a one year pilot programme.
