Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan disappeared 74 years ago after taking off from what is now Papua New Guinea, in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe via the equator. A team of divers claim they've found the wreck of her Lockheed Electra 10-E in 230ft of water, on a reef near Buka island, in the Bougainville region.
