New Zealand's biggest zoo is almost 90 years old. Auckland Zoo was officially opened in December 1922, and history relates it was a "bleak, uninspiring place". These days the zoo is a green and lush, and in the first of four programmes, David Steemson takes a look at the work of a modern zoo and its place in the 21st century.
