Alan Gibbs is one of this country's most successful businessmen. In the '90s he oversaw the privatisation and restructuring of Telecom, the sale of the forestry sector, and he helped set up Sky TV. More recently his amphibious car the Aquada has been making a splash globally and his company, Gibbs Technologies, is producing other all-terrain vehicles; the Quadski and the Humdinga.
