Feet in Auckland, Heart in Christchurch

From Afternoons, 3:09 pm on 11 March 2013

In 1923, a young man from Christchurch made his way north to Auckland. He kept a meticulous diary documenting some of the the big changes happening in the 1920s, including the sealing of Dominion Road and the opening of the Auckland Zoo. Greg Davies discovered the diary of his great uncle, and he's turned it into a book called 'Feet in Auckland, Heart in Christchurch'.
