Snow farm park sold

From Jesse Mulligan, 1–4pm, 2:10 pm on 6 June 2013

For more than 30 years, the Lee family has been involved in the ski industry in the Cardrona valley. John Lee developed the Cardrona Ski Area, which opened in 1980, his wife Mary Lee established the first Cross Country Ski Area in NZ in the 1990s and their son Sam developed Snow Park NZ - the world's first dedicated freestyle resort in 2002. The Lee Family has sold Snow Park to their neighbours, the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds, which uses the land to test vehicles in snow and difficult terrain.
