Viking Festival

Norsemen from all over the world are getting ready for their yearly gathering in Denmark, and among them this year will be a Viking from New Plymouth. Mike Kerr traces his ancestry back to the long-boat marauders of Norway. He is the leader of the Midgard Vikings of New Plymouth, who re-enact all things Viking-related and teach the finer details of Viking culture, including sword-fighting, and the drinking of mead.
