Teen DJ star

He's a Kiwi radio host with over 65,000 listeners - and he's still in Year 13. Liam McEwan is a 17 year old student at Rangitoto College on Auckland's North Shore. As of this month, he's also a 'Shorty Award' winner for his weekly radio show broadcast live from the Devonport Wharf. The Shorty Awards are voted for by hundreds of thousands of social media users all over the world, and Liam McEwan was their pick in the radio category this year.
