Festival of lights

From Afternoons, 3:42 pm on 13 December 2013

60 years ago, the city of New Plymouth put up colored lights in Pukekura Park to mark the Coronation of the Queen. Six decades later, the Festival of Lights is one of the most popular Christmas displays in the country. Starting on Sunday, there will be activities and concerts and of course magnificent light displays at the park. Joining us is New Plymouth district council events manager Melissa Devine-Collins.
