Topics - The Government has announced that the next three Avatar films will be made in New Zealand. Prime Minister John Key says the decision reflects the talent available in this country and that it will provide a huge economic benefit. Auckland councillors spent five-and-a-half hours in a meeting today, disapproving of the mayor Len Brown's failure to declare free and upgraded hotel rooms worth nearly 40 thousand dollars. The councillors want to discuss whether he will contribute to the cost of the 100 thousand dollar auditor's review, which uncovered Mr Brown's failure to declare the rooms as required in the council code of conduct.
