Wild sheep spend five years on the lamb

For five years four Merino sheep evaded capture from Mike Lindsay's station on Omahau Hill in Twizel. Last year their years on the run ended when they strayed within easy reach of Lindsay and his dogs. Another year and they would have been out as long as Shrek, the famous sheep who avoided muster for six years. Now it's time for a haircut and Lindsay is hoping the fleece will set a new Guinness World Record.
