Your place - Eketahuna

We are paying a visit to the settlement that proclaims itself to be the "stereotypical rural New Zealand town." It was originally named Mellenskov by Scandinavian immigrants who were brought into to clear the southern part of the Forty Mile Bush, an area of scrub and native trees that stretched north into southern Hawkes Bay.
