Guided Snorkels

If you feel like getting out and getting in the water, a series of free guided Community Snorkel Days - taking place from Northland to Nelson - are giving people a chance to explore our marine reserves. If you head to Cathedral Cove tomorrow you might spot bright and colourful sea slugs in among the Snapper and Red Moki, while at Kai Iwi Lakes in Northland tomorrow or Sunday you can go on a fresh-water dune lake snorkel. 'Experiencing Marine Reserves Programme' Director Samara Nicholas has been running these events since 2005, and joins us.
