GNS Tsunami

In the warm waters of Gisborne researchers think they have solved the puzzle of why two tsunami's struck the coast of Gisborne in 1947. The team of GNS Scientists think undersea volcanoes off the East Coast could have the potential to cause tsunamis of up to ten-meters high. GNS Science Tsunami Specialist, William Power explains.
