King of thieves is that increasingly common thing, the senior heist movie. Based on real life, this one features Sir Michael Caine, Sir Tom Courtenay and Jim Broadbent.
The seagull is a new adaptation of the Anton Chekhov play that emphasizes the theme of celebrity culture. Stars Annette Bening, Saoirse Ronan and Elisabeth Moss.
And Kiwi documentary She shears is an appealing look at some highly competitive female shearers. Directed by Jack Nicol.
