Food prices fall in February with cheaper fresh foods and meats

Food prices have fallen. Official figures show the food price index declined zero point 7 percent in February compared with the previous month, due to lower prices for fruit, vegetables and meat, which offset higher prices for sweets, energy drinks, and soft drinks.
