Fonterra price rise pumps nearly a billion into economy

Fonterra's 50 cent increase in its milk price forecast to 4-dollars-75 a kilo of milk solids, if sustained, will pump close to a billion dollars into the economy and may take the edge off the Reserve Bank's appetite to lower interest rates.
