There's confusion on the cobbles tonight as Coro fans come to terms with the news that the lag will become just a week from 11 June.
They will be able to keep watching the current series at their own pace during the afternoons, or watch the highlights of the 18 months condensed into a two hour special.
The Acacia Cove retirement village in South Auckland has more than 400 residents - many of whom have watched the long-running soap for most of their lives.
Checkpoint called the village to find out how the residents are planning to deal with the time jump.
