There are now 39 properties around the country infected with mycoplasma bovis. With the rapid spread of the cattle disease, Waikato farmers are bracing themselves and preparing the best they can following the first confirmed case in the region yesterday. The region's dairy representative at Federated Farmers, Ben Moore, says authorities and industry groups are organising a public meeting in Cambridge next week. Reporter Sally Murphy spent the day in the Waikato to see what else can be done to prepare.
