No four lanes - but safer road to Whangarei promised

New Zealand Transport Agency has confirmed it won't be building a four-lane highway from Whangarei to Te Hana. Instead it's promising to fix up the worst bit - the notorious stretch of road between the city and the Marsden roundabout.
