He was exposed to violence at an early age, a teenage gang member at the age of 12 and then joined Black Power at 16 - before going on to join another gang.... That was the turbulent upbringing and life of Rollie Heke who has been jailed for just under seven years for shooting at police near Morrinsville last year and then going on the run for 12-days. The seven years will be served on top of another five-years Heke received for manufacturing and supplying meth. The 38-year old was sentenced in the High Court in Hamilton.
