Messages of condolence are pouring in from around the world

Messages of condolence are pouring in from around the world and from international leaders, who are expressing their anger and sorrow. Flags are flying at half-mast in many overseas capitals and the lights on the Eiffel Tower in Paris have been turned off as a mark of respect to the victims. Heads of state from Donald Trump to Angela Merkel have expressed their solidarity, while Pakistan's prime minister and other Muslim leaders also expressed anger at what they described as the demonisation of Muslims that fuelled such attacks.
