Norwegian sailboat missing in Southern Ocean

The Rescue Co-ordination Centre picked up a distress beacon on Tuesday, and the naval vessel, the Wellington, searched the Ross Sea about 30 kilometres north of Scott Base, until early yesterday morning, when bad weather forced it away from the search area.
