The Labour MP, Shane Jones, says the Government needs to be concerned with Maori leaving for Australia, rather than claims by the ACT party that radical Maori groups want to take over this country's institutions. The Government says District Health Boards are blocking Whanau Ora by dictating terms to small Maori agencies instead of being led by them. One of the eight Iwi covered by the country's biggest treaty settlement is taking legal action against the other seven central North Island parties for missing a self-imposed treaty settlement deadline. The countdown is on for Maori Musicians to get their nominations in for this year's Waiata Maori Music Awards.
