The director of Kaupapa Maori at the Rotorua District Council, Mauriora Kingi, says if iwi want Maori wards - they have to lobby for it; A Rotorua tribe's farming arm says it's against a boycott of AFFCO meatworks - which is locked in an industrial dispute with workers; A Taranaki Maori language immersion school says it's helping former pupils keep their reo alive through organising sports events, such a hockey and touch rugby; The University of Waikato is counting down to Kingitanga Day on Wednesday - which acknowledges the special link the tertiary institution has with Waikato-Tainui and the Maori King movement.
