Sitting National MP rolled for Kaikoura candidacy

For the first time in more than a decade, a sitting National MP has been rolled by a challenger, in a vote to decide who'll be the party candidate for an electorate seat. Stuart Smith has defeated the MP for Kaikoura, Colin King, who has held the seat for nine years.
