The chancellor of Massey University, Chris Kelly, wants the government to be responsible for appointing a Maori representative on to university and wananga councils; The Crown's Maori media funder says it has not been asked to give any input into government plans for a new Te Reo strategy; More Maori people were in work at the end of March this year, than the previous year; The Whanganui Artists' Trust, Manawa Ora, is paying tribute to a plant which became the first ever water bottle for Maori and other indigenous people.
