The Norwegian oil and gas company, Statoil, has been accused of failing to answer questions put to it by members of the Far North community; Schools across the country could start learning more about Maori history - now the government's invested more than a million dollars in to more resources; The national association of kura kaupapa Maori is backing calls for government policy to support community programmes trying to tackle obesity; The Ruapehu District Council's Maori advisory body wants to explore how native trees some of which are ideal for Maori carving can be used if they're chopped down.
