About 400 punters and interested observers packed into a marquee on a Waikato dairy farm on Thursday night as 90 cows and calves from New Zealand's top producing herd are sold. Extra staff were flown in from Australia and Britain to wash, clip, teach and titivate so the animals present well on the night. The top price: $19,000.
